IC Medical GmbH

We specialize in the development and manufacture of innovative products in the field of medical technology. For almost 40 years we have been developing medical technical devices and accessories for use in medical practices, clinics, laboratories and research institutes. Always driven by the idea of developing products that simplify work processes and protect users and patients.

Our products are characterized by their attractive design and ease of use. Developed and produced in Barden-Württemberg, supplied by regional partners – Made in Germany. We also offer our customers at home and abroad a network of service partners for maintenance, repair and validation.

Through direct sales, we advise our customers either live and conveniently on their PC screen or directly at our factory in Rudersberg-Steinenberg. So no questions remain unanswered. The company was founded in 1984 by Thomas Blumenschein as a sales company under the name IC System GmbH in Korb im Remstal. The portfolio quickly expanded to include the medical-technical area and in 1991 IC System GmbH became today’s IC Medical GmbH, which brought the first generation of our automatic denture cleaning machines onto the market in the same year.

The first model of our cleaning and disinfection device followed in 1996, which successfully established itself on the market. Due to increasing demand, a move to Winterbach to a larger company building took place in 2005, which was followed by another move to the current company building in Rudersberg-Steinenberg in 2011.

Since its founding in 1984, the company has always been owner-managed. On April 1, 2023, the founder and previously managing partner, Thomas Blumenschein, handed over management and responsibility to Anja Kleinhanß and thus into the hands of the next generation.
