Health

The World Health Organization (WHO, after World Health Organization) defined the term health in a sophisticated way as early as 1948:“Health is a state of complete mental, physical and social well-being and not just the freedom from disease and infirmity. To enjoy the best possible state of health is a fundamental right of every human being, regardless of race, religion, political opinion, economic or social status.” The WHO is a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Geneva. It publishes the World Health Report every year and uses it to continually document global health care and disease problems.
